Eccentric Engine, a 3D technology partner for the automotive industry, has raised $5 million in a pre-Series A round co-led by Exfinity Venture Partners and Arkam Ventures. The company plans to use the funds to expand its operations and accelerate the development of its proprietary One3D platform, with an advanced version expected by mid-2025.
One3D is a real-time 3D rendering platform designed for automotive OEMs and online retail players. According to Eccentric, the platform optimises 3D CAD models using insights gathered over seven years, enabling brands to offer interactive and immersive vehicle visualisation without the need for complex infrastructure.
"The pre-Series A funding from Exfinity and Arkam will support our efforts to improve the vehicle-buying experience in India and expand internationally," said Varun Shah, co-founder and CEO of Eccentric. "With advancements in hardware and AI, the opportunity to scale has never been greater. These funds will be crucial in driving product development and global expansion."

Eccentric's One3D platform is deployed in over 3,500 dealer stores and has facilitated more than 200 million user interactions globally. In India, it serves automotive OEMs including Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Toyota, Hyundai, and Stellantis—several of whom will showcase their products at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.
The investment marks Arkam Ventures’ second foray into immersive technology. "The global market for 3D visualisation and rendering software is expected to grow from $4.5 billion to $24 billion over the next decade," said Rahul Chandra, Managing Director of Arkam Ventures. "Eccentric is well-positioned to address challenges related to scalability, cost-efficiency, and accessibility, helping automotive OEMs enhance customer engagement."
Shailesh Ghorpade, Founding Managing Partner at Exfinity Venture Partners, emphasised the role of technology in improving the car-buying experience. "A vehicle purchase is a significant decision. Eccentric’s platform enables a more interactive and personalised approach, improving the way customers explore and select their vehicles," he said.
