OTT releases this weekend

Among the biggest digital premieres this week is Main Vaapas Aaunga. The Partition-era romantic drama, directed by Imtiaz Ali, arrives on Netflix on August 7, starring Naseeruddin Shah, Diljit Dosanjh, Vedang Raina and Sharvari in an emotional story of love, memory and separation across generations.

Operation Safed Sagar: The Untold Story of the Kargil War, streaming on Netflix from August 7, stars Jimmy Shergill, Siddharth and Abhay Verma in a military drama that recreates the Indian Air Force's daring aerial campaign during the 1999 Kargil War through the perspective of the Golden Arrows Squadron.

Fans of international series can catch Ted Lasso Season 4, which began streaming on Apple TV+ on August 5, with Jason Sudeikis returning as the optimistic coach mentoring AFC Richmond's women's team. Meanwhile, Netflix released One Hundred Years of Solitude Season 2 on August 5, bringing Gabriel García Márquez's epic literary adaptation to its conclusion.

Families can also revisit The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, which makes its streaming debut on JioHotstar on August 7 following its theatrical run.

Leading this week's theatrical releases is G.D.N., with R. Madhavan portraying legendary inventor G.D. Naidu. The biopic opens in cinemas on August 7, tracing Naidu's journey as a pioneering inventor and entrepreneur while highlighting his battles with the British administration.

Family audiences can head to Ohh My Dog, playing in cinemas from August 7, with Pankaj Tripathi starring in a heartwarming story about a boy, a stray dog and a trafficking racket they accidentally uncover.
