Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has today been discharged from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) after a brief hospitalisation of three days due to viral fever. Sources said the FM was discharged some time back today. The minister was admitted to AIIMS on Monday with symptoms of viral fever. The 63-year-old Union minister was taken to the hospital around 12 noon and was admitted to a private ward of the hospital.
Post hospitalisation, official sources had told Fortune India that FM Sitharaman was taken to AIIMS while also assuring that nothing is serious and she is fine.
Sources, meanwhile, maintained that FM was suffering with symptoms of viral fever and was recovering.
