Bajaj Life Insurance has announced the launch of its New Fund Offer (NFO), Bajaj Life Nifty 200 Value 30 Index Fund. Available under Bajaj Life's unit-linked insurance plans, the fund enables policyholders to participate in a disciplined value investing strategy while benefiting from the dual advantage of life insurance protection and long-term wealth creation.
The fund is designed to provide long-term capital appreciation by tracking the Nifty 200 Value 30 Index, which identifies 30 companies from the broader Nifty 200 universe based on their value characteristics.
The index adopts a transparent, rule-based methodology to select companies that exhibit attractive valuations across multiple financial parameters while maintaining exposure to fundamentally strong businesses. The fund provides a diversified portfolio that combines the stability of large-cap with the growth potential of select mid-cap companies. The index is periodically rebalanced to continue capturing attractive value opportunities as markets evolve.
Speaking on the launch, Srinivas Rao Ravuri, Chief Investment Officer, Bajaj Life Insurance, said, "Markets may go through phases of optimism and uncertainty, but disciplined investing anchored in strong fundamentals has historically rewarded patient investors."
"Value investing focuses on identifying companies with attractive valuations relative to their fundamentals, offering the potential for long-term wealth creation. The Bajaj Life Nifty 200 Value 30 Index Fund provides customers with a transparent and rule-based approach to gain exposure to a concentrated portfolio of 30 value-oriented companies from the Nifty 200 universe. Combined with the protection benefits of a ULIP, the fund offers an opportunity to pursue long-term financial goals through a disciplined investment approach," he added.
The Nifty 200 Value 30 Index selects companies using a composite value score derived from four widely recognised financial metrics—Book Value-to-Price ratio, Earnings-to-Price ratio, Sales-to-Price ratio, and Dividend Yield.
The fund is intended for long-term investors seeking an equity strategy that combines the principles of value investing with the benefits of a Unit Linked Insurance Plan, enabling them to pursue wealth creation while securing their family's financial future.
