After a subdued first half for India's primary market, the initial public offering (IPO) pipeline is poised for a sharp revival, with as many as 17 mainboard issues collectively looking to raise around ₹36,000 crore are expected to hit the market over the next four to five weeks.
The upcoming fundraising calendar will be led by hospital chain Manipal Health Enterprises, quick commerce unicorn Zepto, renewable energy company Juniper Green Energy, housing finance player Truhome Finance, logistics platform Shiprocket, and several other companies across healthcare, consumer, financial services, infrastructure, and technology sectors.
Manipal Health, MV Electrosystems, Juniper Green IPOs to open this week
Among the immediate launches, Manipal Health Enterprises plans to raise ₹9,275.22 crore through a fresh issue of ₹8,000 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) worth ₹1,275.22 crore. The IPO opens on July 30 with a price band of ₹560-590 per share.
The proceeds will be used to repay borrowings of subsidiary Manipal Hospitals Private Ltd, acquire the minority stake in Sahyadri Hospitals, and meet general corporate requirements. Investors can bid in lots of 25 shares.
Railway electrification equipment maker MV Electrosystems will also open its ₹290 crore IPO on July 30. The issue is entirely a fresh issue priced at ₹400-425 per share and closes on August 3. The company intends to use the proceeds for working capital, research and development of new power electronic equipment, and general corporate purposes. The minimum application size is 34 shares.
Renewable energy producer Juniper Green Energy will launch its ₹1,800 crore IPO during the same period. The issue comprises only fresh equity shares and is aimed at repaying debt and funding corporate requirements. The price band has been fixed at ₹214-225 per share, with investors required to apply for a minimum of 66 shares.
Zepto, Shiprocket, Truhome among marquee IPOs in the pipeline
Beyond the immediate launches, several high-profile companies are preparing to tap public markets. Quick commerce platform Zepto plans to raise up to ₹8,010 crore through a combination of a fresh issue and an OFS of up to 11.34 crore shares, making it one of the largest IPOs currently in the pipeline.
Logistics technology platform Shiprocket has filed papers for a ₹2,342.35 crore IPO, including a fresh issue of ₹1,100 crore and an OFS worth ₹1,242.35 crore.
Education assessment company Innovatiview India plans a ₹2,000 crore IPO through a complete OFS, while dairy products manufacturer Milky Mist Dairy Food is preparing a ₹1,553 crore public issue.
Housing finance company Truhome Finance has proposed a ₹3,000 crore IPO, split equally between a fresh issue and an OFS.
Education infrastructure company Elevate Campuses looks to raise ₹2,550 crore through an entirely fresh issue.
Several other companies, including Dhoot Transmission, ARCIL, Ardee Industries, Gaja Alternative Asset Management, Rays of Belief, Hy-Tech Engineers, Shankesh Jewellers, and Learnfluence Education, are also expected to enter the market in the coming weeks.
27 companies collectively raised ₹22,572 crore in H1CY26
The heavy issuance pipeline comes after IPO activity slowed considerably in the first six months of 2026 amid volatile equity markets, geopolitical uncertainties, and cautious investor sentiment. Only 27 companies collectively raised ₹22,572 crore through mainboard IPOs during the January-June 2026 period.
Investor enthusiasm also cooled considerably. Average listing-day returns, based on closing prices on debut, slipped to just 1.3% in the first half of 2026, marking a sharp slowdown from the strong listing gains witnessed during the post-pandemic IPO boom.
Nearly ₹5 lakh crore IPO pipeline remains intact
Despite the temporary slowdown, the longer-term outlook for India's IPO market remains strong. According to Prime Database, 178 companies seeking to raise ₹2.96 lakh crore have already secured approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) to launch their IPOs. Another 71 companies, aiming to raise nearly ₹1.84 lakh crore, are awaiting regulatory clearance.
Together, companies worth nearly ₹5 lakh crore are in various stages of the IPO process, representing one of the largest fundraising pipelines ever seen in the Indian primary market.
