India's primary market pipeline continued to gather momentum on Friday, with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) granting approval to nine companies to launch their initial public offerings (IPOs). The list spans a diverse set of sectors—including gaming, drones, renewable energy, digital media, travel, manufacturing and infrastructure—underscoring the broad-based appetite for public listings.
Among the companies receiving the regulator's observations are PlaySimple Games, Garuda Aerospace, Rediff.com India, Jakson Green, Adroit Industries, Expression 360 Services India Ltd, SNVA Traveltech, Naini Papers Ltd and railway infrastructure and EPC services provider Laxyo. Sebi's observations represent the regulator's approval for companies to proceed with their IPOs, subject to compliance with applicable norms.
Diverse sectors line up for public market debut
The nine companies had filed their Draft Red Herring Prospectuses (DRHPs) with Sebi between December 2025 and April 2026 and received the regulator's observations during August 3-7, according to an update released by the capital markets regulator.
The approvals reflect the continued depth of India's IPO market, where companies from both new-age and traditional sectors are increasingly turning to public markets to fund expansion, strengthen balance sheets and provide exits to existing investors.
Among the notable names, PlaySimple Games is a leading mobile gaming company, while Garuda Aerospace has emerged as one of India's prominent drone technology startups with applications spanning agriculture, surveillance and industrial services. Jakson Green operates in the clean energy space with a focus on renewable energy and green hydrogen solutions, while Rediff.com India is among the country's oldest internet companies.
With companies from emerging sectors such as gaming, drones and green energy joining established businesses in tapping public markets, the latest batch of approvals highlights the widening breadth of India's equity capital markets and the growing role of IPOs in funding corporate growth.
IPO pipeline remains robust
The latest approvals add to an already active IPO pipeline, with several companies across manufacturing, financial services, consumer technology and infrastructure awaiting market launches.
