Mood in IT industry positive despite gloom in the economy, says Rekha Menon

Rekha Menon, chairman and senior MD, Accenture in India says for the IT industry, the mood is positive despite an economic slowdown. “Everything is on the upswing, the overall industry grew by 8%, we were all net hirers, we moved into new areas of technology. For us it is a good news scenario in what could be an overall gloom and doom scenaroo,” says Menon.

She spoke to Fortune India on the sidelines of the Nasscom Technology and Leadership Forum (NTLF) 2020 held in Mumbai.
