Social media platform Snapchat has launched its new initiative, the Snapchat Creator Connect, a multi-city program aimed at empowering Gen Z creators and emerging digital storytellers in India. The initiative offers mentorship, growth opportunities, and engagement tools to help digital short-form content creators build sustainable careers on the platform.

The programme was launched in Hyderabad today with creators, publishers, and industry leaders. Telugu actor Natural Star Nani also made his Snapchat debut at the event, connecting mainstream cinema with Gen Z’s digital culture.

According to the company, Snapchat is teaming up with local creator agencies to support regional talent. By collaborating with top creator agencies, media houses, music labels, and film studios, it aims to amplify regional voices on a global stage.

“India is undergoing a paradigm shift with Gen Z taking centre stage as Creators and Consumers. Creator Connect is one of the ways we will engage Creators leading this change in pop culture,” said Saket Jha Saurabh, Director of Content and AR Partnerships at Snap Inc., in a statement.
