🚨 🚨 At the Fortune India's Best CEOs 2025 event, Dinesh Vijan, Founder of Maddock Films, in conversation with Fortune India’s Editor-In-Chief Sourav Majumdar, announced a major expansion: 7 new horror-comedy films are planned over the next five years, deepening the studio's franchise-led growth strategy.

Vijan emphasized building sustainable, long-term IPs that draw on India's cultural reservoir, rather than chasing short-term trends. He noted the biggest challenge is the smartphone, not rival studios, pushing Maddock to adopt a screen-agnostic strategy across cinema, OTT, and mobile.

He also called AI a massive disruptor, set to alter filmmaking economics in the next 18–24 months. Alongside their commercial hits, Maddock is continuing its prestige push with the upcoming war drama, Ikkis, starring Agastya Nanda.
