IPO funds to reduce debt, strengthen balance sheet: Juniper Green Energy management
Juniper Green Energy has fixed the price band for its IPO at ₹214–225 per share, aiming to raise ₹1,800 crore through a fresh issue. The company has trimmed the issue size from ₹3,000 crore after refinancing around ₹1,200 crore of subsidiary debt at lower interest rates, a move CFO Parag Agrawal said strengthened the balance sheet even before the public issue.
CEO Ankush Malik said the company commissioned over 600 MW of renewable energy capacity in the first quarter of FY27 alone—matching the capacity added in the entire previous financial year. Backed by an operational portfolio of 2.4 GW and a development pipeline of more than 10 GW, Juniper Green says it has strong visibility for future growth.
