Zaveri’s bearings company now supplies products to 26 countries, with 25% of revenue coming from exports. NRB supplies to global truckmakers Daimler, Renault, and Volvo, as well as luxury carmakers Mercedes- Benz and Audi. It recently bagged an order that accounts for some 40% of Benz’s latest 8-speed variable automatic gear box bearings across its range of vehicles in Germany. This year, NRB’s revenue grew a shade above 20% to Rs 659 crore, though profits shrank to Rs 48 crore on account of the demerger of a group company.
