Bookings for the MINI Convertible JCW Pack have opened across dealerships, with deliveries set to begin immediately

BMW India has launched the new MINI Convertible John Cooper Works (JCW) Pack in the country at an ex-showroom price of ₹61.5 lakh, positioning it as a niche, performance-oriented offering in the luxury small car segment. The model will be brought in as a completely built-up unit (CBU) and will be available in limited quantities, underscoring its exclusivity.
Bookings for the MINI Convertible JCW Pack have opened across dealerships, with deliveries set to begin immediately. The launch reflects BMW India’s strategy of catering to enthusiast buyers seeking differentiated, lifestyle-driven products beyond conventional luxury vehicles.
Commenting on the launch, Hardeep Singh Brar, President and CEO, BMW Group India, said, “The new MINI Convertible has always been the ultimate expression of open-top freedom, and with the introduction of the John Cooper Works Pack, we are taking its unmistakable character a step further. This edition is for those who want their MINI to reflect a bold, assertive personality without losing the signature ‘go-kart’ feel they love.”
The model combines MINI’s signature open-top driving appeal with sportier JCW design elements, targeting customers looking for a distinctive blend of performance and individuality in urban and leisure driving environments.
At the heart of the MINI Convertible JCW Pack is a 2.0-litre petrol engine featuring TwinPower Turbo technology, delivering 150 kW (204 hp) and 300 Nm of torque. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds, with a top speed of 240 km/h, placing it firmly in the performance-oriented premium compact segment.
The model is equipped with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and a ‘Boost Mode’, enhancing its sporty driving dynamics. The performance credentials, combined with its convertible body style, position the car as a lifestyle product rather than a volume driver.
The JCW Pack introduces distinctive exterior and interior styling elements, including sportier bumpers, grille design, side skirts and JCW sports seats. The soft-top roof can be fully opened in 18 seconds at speeds of up to 30 km/h, reinforcing its open-air driving proposition.
Inside, the car features a high-resolution OLED display serving as both instrument cluster and infotainment interface, along with MINI Operating System 9 and voice-enabled controls. Features such as a Harman Kardon sound system, head-up display and digital key functionality further elevate the premium experience.
BMW India is positioning the MINI Convertible JCW Pack as an exclusive offering aimed at a select set of buyers who prioritise driving experience and individuality. The limited availability strategy aligns with the brand’s approach of maintaining rarity and desirability for such niche models.
The car is backed by a standard two-year unlimited kilometre warranty, with service packages extendable up to 10 years. Flexible financing options, including assured buyback schemes, are also being offered to enhance affordability in the high-end segment.
