The fall in interest rates since FY15 might be coming to an end as inflation rears its head again. Even the cash reserve ratio is at a multi-year low as RBI opened liquidity tap to support growth. Now RBI, like its counterparts across the globe, might have to suck out liquidity to tackle inflation.
