The ₹100 crore deal includes investment in vehicles and supporting infrastructure like charging stations, parking, and driver training facilities. Celcius has already deployed 100 trucks and plans to roll out the remaining 250 by the end of FY26.

The partnership also launches Celcius Green, a new vertical focused on creating a zero-emission cold logistics network. Backed by an initial ₹50 crore investment, Celcius Green will offer end-to-end electric temperature-controlled transportation for products ranging from dairy and pharmaceuticals to seafood and frozen food. Each 3.5-ton Switch Mobility truck can maintain temperatures between –25°C and +25°C and has an operational range of about 140 km.

“This MoU is an important step for India’s cold logistics sector,” said Swarup Bose, founder & CEO, Celcius Logistics. “With Celcius Green, we’re taking a big step towards making cold logistics cleaner, smarter, and more future-ready. This isn’t just a sustainability project, it’s the next evolution of how cold-chain logistics will operate in India.” He added that the company has completed its pilot phase and already received strong interest from customers.

Ganesh Mani, CEO, Switch Mobility, said the collaboration represents a milestone for electric mobility in the cold chain space. “This first and largest 3.5-ton EV reefer order in India showcases how sustainability and efficiency can go hand in hand,” he said. “The SWITCH IeV Series EV reefer ensures consistent cooling even when idling, delivering product freshness across frozen, chilled, and fresh categories.”

The first phase of Celcius Green operations begins in New Delhi, followed by Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. The company targets ₹50 crore in annual recurring revenue (ARR) in its first year and ₹250 crore within five years as operations expand.

Celcius also plans to invest another ₹100–150 crore to build EV-ready cold-storage hubs and charging infrastructure along key logistics corridors. Each vehicle will be equipped with GPS tracking, smart temperature sensors, and predictive maintenance systems, ensuring zero downtime and full traceability across the cold chain.
