TCS 2nd global IT firm to cross $20 billion in brand value

With 826% growth in brand value over the last 15 years from $2.3 billion in 2010, TCS has cemented its position as a leader in the IT services industry.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) achieved a significant milestone, becoming the second global IT services firm with a brand valuation of $21.3 billion, according to Brand Finance. Meanwhile, Infosys, India's second-largest software services firm, has seen its brand value grow to over $16 billion in 2025.

“At Brand finance, we have been tracking TCS for about two decades and I am continually impressed by how the company keeps innovating its business and projecting its brand on the global stage. Their consistent efforts have led them to a milestone year where they’ve become the second company in the industry to ever cross the landmark 20 billion mark in brand value,” said David Haigh, Chairman and CEO, Brand Finance.

With 826% growth in brand value over the last 15 years from $2.3 billion in 2010, TCS has cemented its position as a leader in the IT services industry.

TCS says its focus on "marketing excellence" has enhanced brand visibility and global reach. TCS sponsors 14 major endurance running races worldwide, including five of the prestigious Abbott World Marathon Majors: New York, London, Boston, Chicago, and now Sydney, engaging over 600,000 runners annually. Through initiatives like the Future Athlete Project, TCS leverages advanced digital twin technology to monitor heart function and enhance athlete performance.

TCS also partners with Jaguar TCS Racing, which competes in the world’s first all-electric racing series, the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

A part of the Tata group, India's largest multinational business group, TCS has over 607,000 consultants in 55 countries. TCS reported net profit of ₹12,380 crore in the December quarter of FY25 as compared to ₹11,058 crore in the year-ago period and ₹11,909 crore a quarter earlier. The company’s total income rose 6.13% to ₹65,216 crore in Q3 FY25 from ₹61,445 crore in the same period last year.

On Monday, TCS inaugurated a new delivery centre in Toulouse, France. TCS plans to harness next-generation technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), generative AI, machine learning, and data analytics to help customers in aerospace and related industries such as manufacturing and defence.

“The delivery centre will facilitate AI-driven transformation and foster innovation to improve aircraft design, manufacturing, and maintenance processes for European clients. This includes enhancing fuel efficiency, developing advanced materials for lighter aircraft structures, and implementing predictive maintenance to minimise downtime, improve safety, and redefine the passenger experience of the future,” the IT major says. This delivery centre is strategically located in Blagnac near Toulouse Airport to be closer to customers in the aerospace industry. This is TCS’ fourth delivery centre in France after Lille, Poitiers, and Paris-Suresnes.
