As a part of the branding initiative, the hospitality chain also launches its revamped website.
Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, one of India’s largest hospitality chains, unveiled a new logo—‘Oberoi Sun’ as a part of its branding initiative. ‘Oberoi Sun’ translates the warmth, energy, and sense of well-being, the company said in a statement.
A part of the 85-year-old Oberoi Group, Oberoi Hotels also launched its revamped website, which it expects will provide an online experience that mirrors its properties. It also added the words, heart felt, to its brand narrative, “to explain the way guests describe their Oberoi experience and form the central pillar of the brand strategy and communication programme,” it said.
“In the research that we carried out, we learned that it is the warmth, kindness, and sincerity in the way we take care of the needs of the guests award us their trust and loyalty,” Vikram Oberoi, managing director and CEO of The Oberoi Group, said. “Guests continue to tell us how people at Oberoi touch their hearts in a deep, profound, and caring manner—compelling them to choose our hotels and recommend us to friends and family”
Founded in 1934 by Mohan Singh Oberoi, the group operates 22 Hotels and resorts in six countries. The Oberoi Marrakech, Morocco, the newest resort in the portfolio, is set to open in 2019.
