A slowdown is an opportunity for disruptors like us, says Nutanix CEO
The recession that happened in the early 90s in the U.S. triggered the movement for Microsoft, the client-server became important; when the dot com bubble burst in 2000, it triggered the movement to virtualisation and Intel servers; the 2008 financial crisis gave way to virtualisation, the first wave of digitalisation. Every slowness in the economy is an opportunity for disruptors like Nutanix who are trying to do things differently, says the cloud computing company’s founder, CEO and chairman Dheeraj Pandey.
The head of the company that sells hyper-converged infrastructure software, cloud services, and software-defined storage spoke to Fortune India on the sidelines of the three-day Nasscom Technology and Leadership Forum (NTLF) 2020.
