Leap.Club - Redefining a professional network

leap.club is a community driven, members-only professional network for rising women leaders. Members use tech to connect with each other, build a strong network and forge meaningful relationships. The platform offers a lot of benefits and their mission is simple: more women in leadership positions.

Currently, leap.club offers memberships solely to women and has become a go-to platform for women looking for exec coaches, a bigger professional network, business partners and trusted professionals. The founding members are from companies like Uber, Bain & Co, Unilever, American Express, Sequoia, NDTV, Google, Tinder, and Wipro to name a few.

leap.club raised $380,000 as part of the seed round from top angels and funds in India including Whiteboard Capital, Sequoia India Scout fund, Titan Capital, First Cheque, Artha India Ventures and more.

Let the numbers speak

What started with 30 founding members in May 2020 has become a 700+ strong member community in the span of seven months. They onboard only a limited number of members each month to ensure that they learn from feedback, better the product and each member wins.

They recently accelerated the on-boarding to add 300+ new members in the last two months, due to an overwhelming response on the wait-list which has 7,500+ members organically. All of this, with zero customer acquisition costs.

18% of their members have 3-6 years of experience. 26% have 6-9 years of experience and 23% come with 12+ years of experience. Women with 18-20 years have also joined as driving other young leaders is what they thrive on!

The members are carefully curated to enable interesting diversity on the platform for members to learn and grow. They have 80% professionals and 20% founders in the mix. Around 10% of new members every month are international ones, expanding the horizons and opportunities for the community.

Their member churn is just 3% since launch and member NPS is very high. leap.club considers its members its raison d’être and plans to make its platform bigger and better for them with time.

Both the founders, Ragini Das and Anand Sinha, are former early Zomato team members. They have experience with launching and expanding businesses internationally, so it is only a matter of time before leap.club goes global. Anand spent almost five years at Zomato and served as the Global Head for Zomato Gold, while Ragini was the Head of International Expansion for Zomato Gold and was with the food tech unicorn for six years.
