We are expanding beyond televisions to build a full-fledged multi-category consumer appliances brand, supported by a wider retail presence, a growing product portfolio and increasing localisation,” Rana said.

The centre showcases products across televisions, air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators and other home appliances, along with Toshiba televisions.

The company is also expanding its washing machine portfolio, with semi-automatic and top-load models already launched and front-load models planned for October.

“We are bringing full range of washing machines, starting with semi-automatic and top load now and front load in the month of October,” Rana said.

Expanding retail footprint

Hisense currently has a presence across around 4,000 retail outlets in India and plans to expand this to 15,000 over the next three to four years. The company also plans to open exclusive stores once it has a wider portfolio across categories.
