On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, total sales saw a 4% rise, at 24,05,357 units, from 23,23,560 units in the same period last year. Total domestic sales were down by 6%, from 14,67,332 units to 13,75,601 units.

However, domestic two-wheeler sales declined 8%, from 12,19,298 units to 11,25,920 units. Export 2-wheelers cushioned the fall, rising 17% to 8,91,858 units.

Domestic CV sales too were moderate, rising, marginally by 1% to 2,49,681 units in 2025, from 2,48,034 units last year. Exports again mitigated the total CV sales, contributing 51% increase to 1,37,898 units from 91,401 units in same time period.

Domestic sales did not grow as expected, despite the anticipated boost from GST reforms announced on September 3 and were effective since September 22, as Bajaj Auto’s two-wheeler portfolio primarily falls under the sub-350cc category.

Bajaj Auto shares were trading flat with no change from previous closing, at ₹8,677.00 apiece at the time of reporting.
