Mercedes-Benz launched the Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series in India on Monday, priced from ₹4.2 crore (ex-showroom). This two-door convertible marks the first sports model in the Maybach lineup, which until now featured only SUVs and sedans.
“For more than a century, Maybach has been synonymous with uncompromising luxury and extraordinary craftsmanship. And the same is true for today’s Mercedes-Maybach models. India has become one of the most important markets globally for the brand,” said Daniel Lescow, Head of Mercedes-Maybach, Mercedes-Benz Group AG, in a statement.
The company will launch its exclusive Maybach Icons of Luxury collection across MAR 20X luxury facilities starting March 2025. Customer consultations for the SL Maybach began on Monday, with deliveries set to commence in the first quarter of the next fiscal.
The open-air vehicle series will be available in two distinct colour options: Garnet Red Metallic, termed as Red Ambience, and Opalite White Magno, termed as White Ambience — both featuring black accents. This open-top two-seater blends the signature SL silhouette with Maybach’s luxury craftsmanship.
Exterior Design
At the front, the car sports the Maybach grille, a premium bumper, and the Maybach logo on the bonnet and lower bumper. The front skirt emphasises width, while the rear features Maybach-specific tailpipe trims and signature taillights. Twenty-one-inch Maybach-exclusive alloy wheels complete the profile.

Inside, the SL 680 Monogram boasts a Maybach-specific steering wheel and upholstery, finished in MANUFAKTUR Crystal White Nappa leather. It features a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display and an 11.9-inch vertically oriented infotainment screen.
