TATA.ev launches new Punch.ev at ₹9.69 lakh

TATA.ev has launched the new Punch.ev at an introductory price of ₹9.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai), aiming to make electric mobility more accessible in the entry-level segment. An alternate Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) financing option will be available, with prices starting at ₹6.49 lakh plus a battery EMI of ₹2.6 per km.
The Punch.ev offers a real-world range of ~355 km with a 40 kWh LFP battery pack and an ARAI-certified range of 468 km (P1+P2). A 30-kWh battery option will also be available. The vehicle supports fast charging, enabling 20% to 80% charge in 26 minutes. It can add 135 km of real-world range in 15 minutes under test conditions. The Punch.ev is available in three personas — Smart, Adventure and Empowered.
TATA.ev's charging infrastructure
TATA.ev is offering a Lifetime HV Battery Warranty covering unlimited kilometres (applicable on the 40-kWh battery pack for the first owner, up to 15 years). TATA.ev has aggregated over 30,000 public chargers in collaboration with over 30 charge point operators. Tata's charging network includes over 2.3 lakh charging points across 1,500 cities, including more than 30,000 public chargers aggregated through partner operators.
Different variants and prices:
The new Punch.ev introductory ex-showroom prices start at ₹9.69 lakh for the 30 kWh Smart variant, while the 30 kWh Smart+ is priced at ₹10.29 lakh. For the 40-kWh battery pack, the Smart+ variant is priced at ₹10.89 lakh, the Adventure variant at ₹11.59 lakh, the Empowered variant at ₹12.29 lakh, and the Empowered +S variant at ₹12.59 lakh.
