Both models offer company-fitted CNG and speed limiting function (SLF) with a three-year warranty. Hyundai is also offering a specially designed extended warranty covering the fourth and fifth year or up to 1,80,000 km, whichever is earlier. The company said the Prime range delivers a low cost of maintenance of 47 paise per km.

Fuel efficiency for the Prime SD is rated at 28.40 km per kg, while the Prime HB delivers 27.32 km per kg.

Tarun Garg, Managing Director and CEO designate, Hyundai Motor India Limited, said the Prime range has been developed to meet the needs of commercial customers looking for high uptime, predictable maintenance, and low operating costs. He added that the offering is backed by Hyundai’s service network, extended warranty, maintenance packages, and flexible finance solutions.

“Fleet operators and taxi drivers look for vehicles that deliver maximum uptime, predictable maintenance and low operating costs, and the Hyundai Prime range has been developed precisely with these priorities in mind,” he said.

“Backed by Hyundai’s extensive service network, attractive warranty, maintenance packages, low cost of ownership and flexible finance solutions, Prime HB and Prime SD will enable our commercial customers to enhance earnings while offering safe and comfortable mobility to passengers. This marks an important step in extending Hyundai’s promise of hassle-free ownership to the commercial segment as well,” he added.

Hyundai is offering flexible finance options with repayment tenures of up to 72 months. The Prime Taxi range will also be supported by Hyundai’s nationwide sales and service network, along with trained fleet care advisors at dealerships to support taxi and fleet customers, the release noted.
