ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company (AMC) has reported 23.1% year-on-year rise in its profit after tax (PAT) at ₹964.6 crore in the June quarter, driven by healthy growth in assets under management and higher fee income. The asset management company had posted a PAT of ₹783.64 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year, it said in an exchange filing today.

The company’s revenue from operations increased 17.6% to ₹1,564.2 crore in the June quarter, compared with ₹1,330.7 crore in the corresponding period last year. Total income rose 18.1% to ₹1,745 crore from ₹1,477.5 crore a year ago.

Operating profit before tax grew 20.2% year-on-year to ₹1,099.9 crore, while profit before tax (PBT) increased 20.6% to ₹1,280.7 crore from ₹1,062 crore in the year-ago quarter.

On a sequential basis, PAT rose 25.5% from ₹768.6 crore in the March quarter, aided by a sharp increase in other income. Revenue from operations, however, remained largely stable, rising 1.4% quarter-on-quarter to ₹1,564.2 crore, as per the exchange filing.

The company continued to strengthen its leadership in the domestic mutual fund industry during the quarter. Its quarterly average assets under management (QAAUM) stood at ₹11.17 lakh crore, up 18.3% from ₹9.44 lakh crore in the year-ago period, with an overall market share of 13.4%, ICICI Prudential AMC said in its earnings report.

Actively managed QAAUM increased to ₹9.25 lakh crore from ₹8.03 lakh crore a year earlier, while equity and equity-oriented schemes grew to ₹6.31 lakh crore from ₹5.27 lakh crore. Equity-oriented hybrid schemes recorded QAAUM of ₹2.22 lakh crore, translating into an industry-leading market share of 26.6%.

The company's alternatives business also continued to expand, with QAAUM reaching ₹79,446 crore, comprising portfolio management services (PMS) assets of ₹28,996 crore, alternative investment funds (AIFs) of ₹22,737 crore and advisory assets of ₹27,713 crore.

Investor participation remained strong during the quarter. Monthly systematic transactions for June 2026 rose to ₹4,872 crore from ₹4,245 crore in the same month last year. The company's customer base expanded to 1.73 crore unique investors as of June 30, 2026, compared with 1.51 crore a year earlier. It also serviced investors through more than 1.16 lakh empanelled distribution partners across 286 offices.

Ahead of the earnings announcement, shares of ICICI Prudential AMC ended 1.56% higher at ₹3,209.55 on the BSE, giving the company a market capitalisation of about ₹1.58 lakh crore.
