Reliance Industries Ltd Chairman Mukesh Ambani didn't draw any salary for the fifth consecutive year, in FY25. According to RIL's annual report for FY2024-25, Mukesh Ambani drew no salary, allowances, or perquisites, stock options and commission in the fiscal year, a decision he took during the Covid-19 pandemic and has followed since then. Before that, Mukesh Ambani took home a fixed remuneration of ₹15 crore from FY09 to FY20.
Though Ambani has not taken any remuneration since FY21, the 67-year-old tycoon runs India's most valued company and has a net worth that stands at $99.8 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaire Index.
The remuneration of other top executive directors at RIL also remained largely steady compared to the last year. Nikhil Meswani and Hital Meswani took home remuneration worth ₹25 crore, while P.M.S. Prasad's total compensation stood at ₹19.96 crore.

Mukesh Ambani's three children and non-executive directors at RIL , Isha Ambani Piramal, Akash Ambani, and Anant Ambani, saw their total remuneration at ₹2.31 crore each for said the financial year.
In his letter to shareholders in the RIL annual report, Mukesh Ambani said the world is changing at breakneck speed, reshaped by digital disruption, global shifts, and technological breakthroughs. "At Reliance, we see this not as a challenge but as an opportunity. We are reimagining our future and reshaping our businesses to become a new-age deep-tech enterprise," said Ambani.
The RIL Chairman said that from energy to entertainment, from retail to digital services, the company is integrating next-generation technologies across every business vertical. "Over 1,000 of our in-house scientists are leading cutting-edge research in areas like AI, renewable energy, advanced materials, and digital platforms."
In FY25, RIL recorded strong performance, with revenue surging 7.1% YoY to ₹10,71,174 crore, while its EBITDA grew 2.9% to ₹1,83,422 crore and profit at 2.9% to ₹81,309 crore.
"The journey ahead is full of promise. With unwavering faith in India and steadfast commitment to innovation, sustainability and inclusion, Reliance is poised to rise to even greater heights," said Ambani.
