Ecommerce platform Snapdeal has announced the launch of its festive ‘Bharat Swagotsav’ sale for value-conscious buyers. The sale is set to start from September 19, 2025, alongside Meesho’s Mega Blockbuster Sale.

“It's an event that offers great style at blockbuster deals like Tehalka @ ₹30 and exciting offers on Swadeshi brands.  This sale festival is designed to delight our customers while strengthening the ecosystem of small Indian sellers,” said Achint Setia, CEO, Snapdeal, in a statement.

This year the sale focuses on fashion, home, beauty, food, and festive essentials.

Some of the offers include the “Tehalka Deals at ₹30” section. In this segment, the first 1,000 customers at 8 pm each day can access items priced at ₹30, covering categories such as clothing, footwear, packaged food, lighting, and consumer electronics.

Discounts will also apply to a range of domestic brands, fashion labels, and during specific time slots called Loot Hours, scheduled between 12 am and 2 am on 19 September, where further markdowns will be applied on existing sale prices.

The company expects there to be a strong demand this season due to the recent GST rate cut by the Centre with increased order values among individual shoppers.

Another part of the sale, titled “Buy Early with GST Benefits,” is structured to combine lower base prices with reduced tax amounts, affecting the final cost of selected items.

Shoppers making payments through Cred, Paytm, PhonePe, HDFC Bank credit and debit cards, Bank of Baroda cards, or BHIM UPI will be eligible for additional discounts.

The company claims to offer value-conscious shoppers with high-quality products at affordable prices, aside from giving the country’s medium and small sellers a national platform to grow.

This announcement comes just few days after the company announced onboarding of 4 more fashion brands including Tokyo Talkies, Highlander, Oomph! and Sassafras on the platfrom, alongside a community of regional sellers of fashion brands.
