After iPhones, Zomato-owned quick commerce platform Blinkit will now deliver Nokia and Xiaomi smartphones to its customers. The Gurugram-based new-age company has announced the expansion of its product offerings by partnering with these two smartphone makers.

The development is significant as Blinkit already delivers Apple iPhones in select locations and the partnership with Nokia and Xiaomi will further solidify its position in the Q-commerce delivery space.

CEO Albinder Dhindsa says the service will be initially available across the areas of Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru. Customers will also be able to avail of the no-cost EMI options on the purchase of these smartphones.

"Now get smartphones and feature phones delivered in just 10 minutes! We’ve partnered with Xiaomi and Nokia to deliver their bestselling range in parts of Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. Redmi 13 5G, Redmi 14C, iPhone 16, and Nokia 105 are already available on the Blinkit app. Customers can also avail of no-cost EMI on most of these phones. We'll be adding more phones and brands to this list very soon," says Dhindsa.

To cash in on footfall at Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, UP, Blinkit recently opened a temporary store in the holy city. The 100 sq ft store delivers items like pooja needs, milk, curd, fruits & vegetables, among other things.

Earlier this month, in a first-of-its-kind pivot, Blinkit ventured into emergency services as the company launched a 10-minute ambulance service in Gurugram, marking a significant expansion beyond its core offerings.

Quick commerce companies continue to surprise consumers with the sheer variety of products and services they can deliver in 10 or even 30 minutes. Even fashion marketplaces like Myntra have joined the quick-delivery trend. Blinkit competitor Zepto, on the other hand, partnered with ethnic wear brand Manyavar and several others recently.

Blinkit has been delivering Apple smartphones since the iPhone 14 series and continues with the iPhone 16 as well. After the new iPhone 16 series officially went on sale in India in September 2024, quick-commerce platforms like Bigbasket, Blinkit, Zepto, and Flipkart Minutes also announced its delivery in 10 minutes.
