As India continues to be the world’s fastest-growing major economy, Fortune India presents its special issue on the nation’s Top 100 Billionaires. Curated in partnership with Waterfield Advisors, this year’s list reflects a slight decline in the number of dollar billionaires—from 185 to 182—even as the entry threshold for the Top 100 rose to ₹24,283 crore, up from ₹22,739 crore last year. From stalwarts like Mukesh Ambani, Gautam Adani, and the Mistry family, who continue to lead the list, to major gainers such as Sunil Mittal and Kumar Mangalam Birla, the issue goes beyond the numbers to explore the resilience, ambition, and strategic foresight that define India’s wealth creators. “This is our first step in solving the problem of providing reliable ambulance service in our cities. We aim to carefully scale this service up and expand to all major cities in the next two years,” says Albinder Dhindsa, founder & CEO, Blinkit.
The CEO of Blinkit took to X to share the news of the launch of the 10-minute ambulance service. He noted that profit is not their aim and this service will be available at an affordable cost. “We are carefully scaling this service up, as it is both important and new to us. Let's do our bit and make way for an ambulance always. You never know when you may save a life.”
Earlier this week, Dhindhsa launched Blinkit’s large order fleet, with all-electric vehicles designed for large orders. Initially available in Delhi and Gurugram, the service will be expanded to other cities as well.
