RPSG Lifestyle Media is set to introduce Robb Report, the American luxury-lifestyle magazine, to the Indian market potentially by the first quarter of FY25-26. Known globally as an authority on ultra-luxury living, the publication will join Esquire and The Hollywood Reporter under RPSG’s growing lifestyle media portfolio.
“For over 40 years, Robb Report has been the final word on luxury and lifestyle,” Avarna Jain, chairperson, RPSG Lifestyle Media told Fortune India. “With increasing disposable income in the hands of Indian consumers, luxury is going to become a way of life. It’s an opportune time to expand Robb Report’s footprint in India.”
The magazine, which caters to ultra-affluent consumers, offers insights across diverse segments, from high-end automobiles, private aviation, yachts, and real estate to fine jewellery, watches, art, and wine. Jain believes Indian consumers are already well-versed in luxury, thanks to social media and evolving global exposure.
“Luxury is not new to India,” she said. “For centuries, India has seen all types of luxury. The shift we are witnessing now is that luxury is becoming more accessible due to changing tax slabs and economic factors.”
Jain pointed to the impact of the pandemic on consumer behaviour, noting a shift towards ‘living in the now’ rather than prioritising long-term savings. “People are spending more on experiences and lifestyle,” she said while adding, “Consumption patterns have changed in the last five or six years, and the pandemic played a huge part in that.”

RPSG Lifestyle Media aims to build a dedicated luxury media ecosystem, distinguishing itself from legacy media houses that treat lifestyle journalism as a secondary focus. “For many Indian media houses, lifestyle publications have been offshoots of their main editorial focus. We want to build a portfolio where lifestyle, luxury, and RPSG Lifestyle Media become completely synonymous,” Jain added.
The launch of Robb Report India is expected as early as the first quarter of this fiscal year, marking a significant expansion for RPSG in the luxury media space.
