As of Tuesday, Son of Sardaar 2 recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 22.08%. The morning shows began sluggishly with just 8.97% occupancy, but picked up momentum later in the day as afternoon shows stood at 18.87%, evening shows at 22.49%, and night shows peaked at 38%.

Meanwhile, Dhadak 2, a spiritual sequel to the 2018 film Dhadak, has received moderate but consistent traction. Starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Tripti Dimri in lead roles, the film also features Saurabh Sachdeva, Zakir Hussain, Deeksha Joshi, and Vipin Sharma. The film is directed by Shazia Iqbal and produced by Dharma Productions, Zee Studios, and Cloud9 Studio.

On Tuesday, Dhadak 2 posted an overall Hindi occupancy of 29.22%, slightly edging past Son of Sardaar 2 for the day. The film showed decent pull across the board: morning shows at 13.70%, afternoon at 28.60%, evening at 32.07%, and night shows hitting 42.50%.

Though Son of Sardaar 2 is ahead in terms of total box office collection, Dhadak 2 appears to be gaining ground through steady word-of-mouth and stronger urban multiplex traction.

With both films eyeing extended theatrical runs, the coming weekend will be crucial in determining long-term success. Whether Ajay Devgn’s star power continues to dominate or Dhadak 2 surprises with sustained performance remains to be seen.
