Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Monday with symptoms of viral fever. The 63-year-old Union minister was taken to the hospital around 12 noon and was admitted to a private ward of the hospital.
Confirming the development, an official source told Fortune India that FM Sitharaman is admitted to AIIMS. "But nothing serious. She is fine," said the source. Sources, meanwhile, said the FM was suffering with symptoms of viral fever and is recovering.
