Hindustan Unilever is a subsidiary of the global food, home and personal care, and refreshments manufacturing company, Unilever. The company finds its origins in 1883 with the launch of Sunlight Soap in the UK, credited with popularising cleanliness at the time. Today, its products sell in over 190 countries spanning multiple FMCG categories. The company has been present in India for more than 90 years and includes over 50 brands within its portfolio. Some of these brands are Axe, Boost, Taj Mahal, Cornetto, Closeup, Comfort, Surf Excel, Vaseline, Vim, and more.
