Plotted real estate developer House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL) has launched a new luxury lifestyle hospitality sub-brand – Miros Hotels & Resorts – to “support new generation of discerning travellers.”

Just as we’ve made land ownership aspirational and accessible, we’re now creating destinations that are rooted in emotion, curated with care, and designed to leave behind memories that last a lifetime,” said Abhinandan Lodha, Chairperson of HoABL in a statement.

The company on Tuesday announced that the first property for the brand has already been operational in Central Goa.

Taking inspiration from the Greek word Miros, which means island, the Goa property of the brand boasts an only vegetarian fine dining restaurant with vegan offerings, aside from spa, gym, indoor and outdoor sports and games, swimming pool, and wellness and cultural experience services.

"By integrating a luxury hospitality brand such as Miros into our branded land developments, we are bringing aspiration and access together. Miros allows us to add deep emotional and experiential value to the land we develop, creating destinations that are not only owned, but truly lived and felt,” said Samujjwal Ghosh, Chief Executive Officer, HoABL.

The hotel claims to have earned near-perfect ratings on prominent Online travel agencies (OTAs) including Booking.com, MakeMyTrip. As on MakeMyTrip, the Miros Goa (formerly Imperial Goa) has rooms starting from ₹8,000 going upto ₹36,000 for presidential suite bookings.

The sub-brand is headed by Ranvir Bhandari who has worked at Oberoi Hotels and Resorts, Soneva and ITC Hotels in the past for the last 40 years.

“We are building sanctuaries of discovery where guests can truly re-connect with themselves, their companions, and their surroundings. Luxury today isn’t about the opulence of stays, but about rare moments crafted with warmth and authenticity,” Bhandari said in a statement.

Aside from Goa, the brand now aims to expand its footprint with new properties in Alibaug and Matheran in Maharashtra, including additions along the Konkan Coast.

In March last year, the company had announced the launch of Imperial Goa, a residential project. Imperial Goa was positioned as a premium 13-acre development featuring one of the city’s top clubhouses. On OTAs, the Miros Goa property is listed as "Miros Goa (formerly Imperial Goa)", indicating that the newly unveiled Miros is a rebranded version of the earlier Imperial Goa project. However, the company has not clearly stated what became of the original residential offering.

Abhinandan Lodha, who began his independent venture in 2020 focusing on plotted developments, has delivered four projects spanning 15 million sq. ft. and has around 40 million sq. ft. under active development.

His business split from the Lodha Group dates back to 2015, when he and his elder brother, Abhishek Lodha of Macrotech Developers, divided the family’s real estate empire. The division took two years to finalise, covering aspects like use of intellectual property and non-compete clauses. Despite this, the brothers found themselves in a prolonged legal battle, with Macrotech accusing Abhinandan Lodha’s companies of trademark misuse and contract breaches, while Abhinandan’s firms countered with allegations of governance issues.

The legal dispute culminated in a ₹5,000 crore lawsuit filed by Macrotech in January 2025, citing misuse of the 'Lodha' trademark. Abhinandan Lodha’s group, including The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL) and ventures like Tomorrow Capital and EasiLoan, refuted the charges, pointing to a separate business model and locations. Following a settlement between the parties in early April, HoABL marked its entry into vertical real estate the same month this year with two projects in Mumbai totalling 3.1 million sq. ft.

The plan for the company is to foray into 48 cities across the country. Upcoming projects for the company are expected to come up in Amritsar, Shimla, Varanasi, and Vrindavan. The company claims to have a customer base of over 6000 investors and to never have incurred a loss nor engaged in cash burning.
