Paytm's festival sale offers up to 20% discount on flights, bus bookings

Paytm parent One 97 has announced Maha Carnival Sale, with festive season savings of up to 20% on domestic and international flights and bus bookings, for which Paytm Travel has partnered with Bank of Baroda, ICICI Bank, RBL Bank, and HSBC.

The company says these banks will provide cardholders with additional savings on flights and bus bookings.

A statement says Bank of Baroda cardholders can avail up to 14% off on domestic flights, 10% on international flights, and 20% on bus bookings. ICICI Bank is offering up to 10% off on flights, while RBL Bank customers can will get 12% discount on domestic and 10% on international flights. HSBC cardholders can access up to 12% off on flights and up to 10% on bus bookings.

In addition to flights and buses, Paytm Travel will offer zero payment gateway charges on UPI and a free cancellation option that enables instant full refunds. "Travellers also get real-time updates such as live running status and PNR details, while Paytm’s Ticket Assure service helps secure confirmed tickets through smart alternatives, including nearby stations and flexible travel dates."

Recently, the company introduced Travel Pass, a subscription-based solution that provides cost benefits for frequent flyers along with free cancellations and travel insurance.

One97's Q1 FY26 profit stood at ₹122.5 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal year that ended on June 30, 2025. Last year, during the same period, the company recorded a loss of ₹84.01 crore.

Consolidated total income stood at ₹2,158.9 crore, up 31.7% from ₹1,639.1 crore in the same quarter last year. Total expenses declined 18.58% to ₹2,016.1 crore from ₹2,476.4 crore during the same period.

The company saw a 23% year-on-year (YoY) growth in payment services revenue that rose to ₹1,110 crore in the quarter that ended on June 30, 2025. Net payment revenue stood at ₹529 crore, up 38% YoY, driven by higher payment processing margins and increased device additions.
