BMW India has announced that bookings for the all-new BMW X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro will open at 12:30 PM on 30 January 2026. The vehicle, scheduled for launch on 16 February 2026, will be locally produced at BMW Group Plant Chennai and available for pre-booking across the company’s authorised dealership network in India.

Enhanced performance and design updates

The X3 30 xDrive comes with a significantly revised powertrain, delivering a notable increase in both power and torque, aimed at enhancing driving dynamics. The SUV also features updated exterior styling, highlighted by BMW’s Iconic Glow kidney grille and the M Sport Professional package, giving the model a stronger road presence.

A BMW India spokesperson said, “The all-new X3 30 xDrive sets a new benchmark in its segment, offering enhanced performance alongside advanced features and refined styling.” The model combines technology, comfort, and design, targeting premium SUV buyers seeking a sporty yet sophisticated driving experience.

Market positioning and industry outlook

The pre-launch booking initiative aligns with BMW India’s strategy to generate early demand for its locally produced models. Analysts expect the new X3 30 xDrive to strengthen BMW’s position in the mid-size luxury SUV segment, which faces competition from Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and Volvo.
