China’s SAIC Motor-backed JSW MG Motor India on Wednesday announced a marginal price hike of up to 1.5% across most of its product offerings. The price increase will be effective from July 1, 2025 and will vary as per the model and variant. This revision is being done to mitigate the impact of rising input costs and other macroeconomic factors, the automaker said.
JSW MG Motor India had undertaken a price hike of up to 3% across its entire product portfolio effective January 2025. This price increase was a result of “continuously rising input costs and other external factors,” the automaker had said at the time.
The automaker reported monthly sales of 6,304 units in May 2025, clocking a year-on-year growth of 40% over the 4,510 units sold in May 2024.
