Budget 2023: Disinvestment target: Hits and Misses

After excessing disinvestment targets between FY17-FY19, India has missed projections three years in a row. Fiscal ’22 achieved only 44.5% of targeted disinvestments. This year so far, Centre has achieved only ₹31,000 crore of the targeted ₹65,000 crore.
