Gurugram-based logistics unicorn Delhivery saw a significant improvement in profitability and modest growth in revenue in the January-March quarter of 2024-25. With this, the company achieved the milestone of its first full year of PAT profitability.
The company recorded a profit after tax of ₹73 crore in Q4 FY25, an increase of ₹141 crore YoY from a loss of ₹69 crore in Q4 FY24, making it the fourth consecutive profitable quarter. Its revenue in the said quarter stood at ₹2,192 crore in Q4 FY25, a growth of 6% YoY vs ₹2,076 crore in Q4 FY24.
EBITDA growth was more than 100% to ₹119 crore (5.4% margin) in Q4 FY25 from ₹46 crore (2.2% margin) in Q4 FY24.
“We continue to deliver steady performance in our core transportation businesses. Our ongoing measures to improve profitability are visible in Q4 numbers, and we expect continued momentum on this front as growth picks up in FY26,” said Sahil Barua, MD & Chief Executive Officer.
For FY25, Delhivery saw its profit rise to ₹162 crore, an increase of ₹411 crore YoY from a loss of ₹249 crore in FY24, marking FY25 as the first full year of PAT profitability.
Revenue from services grew 10% on-year at ₹8,932 crore in FY25, up from ₹8,142 crore in FY24, while EBITDA nearly tripled YoY to ₹376 crore (4.2% margin) in FY25 from ₹127 crore (1.6% margin) in FY24.
Among business segments, Express Parcel's revenue grew 3% YoY to ₹1,256 crore in Q4 FY25, while the full-year revenue grew 5% to ₹5,318 crore. Shipment volumes grew 1% YoY to 177 million in Q4 FY25, while the full-year numbers grew 2% YoY to 752 million, despite a decline in overall 3PL industry volumes and consumption headwinds, the company stated.
The Part Truck Load revenue grew 24% YoY to ₹517 crore in Q4 and 25% YoY to ₹1,889 crore in FY25.
Suraj Saharan appointed whole-time director
Delhivery has announced the appointment of Suraj Saharan, co-founder and the current Chief People Officer of the company, as a whole-time director on its board, effective immediately.
Saharan has previously run operations and has led the company’s entry into the full truckload segment at its inception. In his current role as Chief People Officer, he is responsible for fostering Delhivery’s high-performance culture and driving the company’s talent strategy.
Saharan holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, and previously worked at Bain & Company India Private Limited, ICICI Lombard Insurance Company Limited and the Unique Identification Authority of India.
