Japanese office automation and electronics company Ricoh Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. ("Ricoh") has announced a strategic partnership with Delhi-based Minosha India Ltd. to sell and service Ricoh's office equipment and digital services in India. Minosha (formerly known as Ricoh India Ltd) used to be Ricoh's Indian subsidiary until two years ago. The new partnership - to have Minosha as its distribution partner - will allow Ricoh to provide its full range of products and services in India, Atul Thakker, managing director of Minosha India, says.

"We are very delighted to be onboarded as a Ricoh partner. Ricoh is known for its innovative products and solutions and this collaboration will leverage Minosha's service capabilities and strong pan-India network to deliver best in class solutions. Both alliance partners will contribute to India's digital growth story," Thakker adds.

"Ricoh's digital solutions were not offered earlier. By selling the entire product and services range of Ricoh we are looking at high growth in India. We are likely to end this year (2021-22) with a revenue of about Rs 200 crore and is targeting to touch Rs 500 crore turnover mark in less than five years," Thakker points out.

"India is one of the key markets in the region and it is imperative for Ricoh to have partners that can reach out to customers in the country. Our partnership with Minosha will help customers discover and navigate digital transformation, allowing them to create greater value for their business in the process," said Tomo Ota, director, Ricoh Asia Pacific.

Minosha has a pan-India network of 7 offices and over 300 business partners. It offers a comprehensive range of printing products, document management and workflow solutions to its customers across the country for digital transformation and optimised performance of their businesses.

Headquartered in Tokyo, Ricoh Group has major operations throughout the world and its products and services now reach customers in approximately 200 countries and regions. In the financial year ended March 2021, Ricoh Group had worldwide sales of about $15.1 billion.
