Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries Limited, along with four generations of his family, participated in the sacred ritual of taking a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj on the occasion of the Maha Kumbh. This momentous event saw the Ambani family join millions of pilgrims at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers, partaking in one of Hinduism’s most revered traditions.
Accompanying Mukesh Ambani were his mother, Kokilaben Ambani, sons Akash and Anant, daughter-in-laws Shloka and Radhika, and grandchildren Prithvi and Veda. His sisters, Dipti Salgaocar and Nina Kothari, also took part in the ritual, along with his mother-in-law, Purnimaben Dalal, and sister-in-law, Mamthaben Dalal. The presence of four generations of the Ambani family underscored the deep spiritual significance of the Maha Kumbh and the importance of preserving religious traditions across generations.

The Ambani family donned traditional attire for the occasion. Mukesh Ambani and Anant Ambani opted for matching blue kurta pyjamas, while Akash Ambani stood out in a vibrant multicoloured kurta. Shloka Mehta looked elegant in a white Anarkali suit, and little Prithvi and Veda wore coordinating teal outfits.
The Ambani family performed the Ganga Puja under the guidance of Swami Kailashanand Giri ji Maharaj of Niranjani Akhara, marking the sanctity of the occasion with prayers and rituals. Following the ceremony, Mukesh Ambani met with Swami Chidanand Saraswati Maharaj of Parmarth Niketan Ashram. At the ashram, the Ambani family engaged in acts of charity, distributing sweets and life jackets to devotees and pilgrims gathered at the holy site.
