Blinkit to deliver Apple’s new iPhone 17 series within minutes of launch in India

With Apple recently launching the flagship iPhone 17 series, both in India and globally, with sales starting from September 19 onwards, quick commerce giant Blinkit today took to the social media platform X to announce that it will deliver the much-awaited iPhones on the same day itself on its platform.

Blinkit, which is owned by Zomato, said that from September 19 onwards, the delivery of iPhone 17 will commence, with instant delivery. This is not the first time that Blinkit has been involved with premium smartphone launches. Last year as well, with the release of iPhone 16, the quick commerce company had announced that the devices will be available on its platform, with instant delivery.

Apple's iPhone 17 series, which also includes the all-new iPhone 17 Air, which claims to be the thinnest smartphone in the market so far, was unveiled by CEO Tim Cook from its Cupertino headquarters on September 9.

Cook also unveiled four new iPhone 17 models, comprising of the base iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The new lineup, as opined by tech experts, has a sharp focus on design, with Apple's new Liquid Glass technology, and also includes incredible camera upgrades. The base model of iPhone 17 is priced at Rs 79,900, while the iPhone Air begins at a price range of Rs 1,19,900. For those who want to opt for higher-end models, the iPhone 17 Pro comes at a price of Rs 1,34,900 and the iPhone 17 Pro Max has a price tag of Rs 1,49,900.

Blinkit has not yet confirmed the number of cities that it will cover as it looks to deliver the iPhone 17. But, it is possible to say that all metro cities should be covered in the initial run. Other cities may be added later on. Delivery, as stated by Blinkit, can happen within 10 minutes.
