Building on the success of its Ray-Ban smart glasses, Meta is now entering the performance category with this new line designed for athletes and fans alike. The latest HSTN (pronounced “how-stuhn”) smart glasses combine Oakley’s bold design language with Meta’s cutting-edge technology.

Designed for field, trail, or track, these glasses are equipped with a 12MP camera capable of recording in 3K Ultra HD, open-ear Bluetooth speakers, and a built-in Meta AI assistant. They support hands-free video capture, real-time answers to voice queries, calls, messaging, and audio playback.

Aimed at enhancing athletic performance and everyday convenience, Oakley Meta HSTN glasses offer up to 8 hours of regular use, 19 hours on standby, and fast-charging capabilities — 50% charge in 20 minutes.

A charging case extends total usage time by an additional 48 hours. The glasses also feature an IPX4 water resistance rating and come in a variety of frame and lens combinations, including prescription options.

When will the glasses be launched in India?

The limited-edition Oakley Meta HSTN, featuring gold accents and PRIZM lenses, will be available for preorder starting July 11 at $499. Additional models, priced from $399, will roll out later this summer across the US, Canada, UK, Europe, and Australia. Expansion to India, Mexico, and the UAE is expected later this year.

In May, Meta launched its Ray-Ban smart glasses in India, blending classic design with advanced technology to help users stay connected without losing focus on the world around them. Priced from ₹29,900, pre-orders opened the same day on Ray-Ban.com. The collection became available nationwide starting May 19 through Ray-Ban’s website and select optical and eyewear retailers.
