OnePlus has expanded its device lineup with two key launches on Thursday—introducing its 6 mm-thick tablet, the Pad 3, globally, and unveiling the OnePlus 13s smartphone in India, priced from ₹54,999. While the Pad 3 is yet to hit Indian shelves, its global price tag of $700 positions it closer to rivals like Samsung and Apple. Here’s a closer look at what each device brings to the evolving OnePlus ecosystem.

OnePlus 13s with a revitalised Plus key

The brand also launched its OnePlus 13s in India. The device features a 6.32-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz, peaking at 1,600 nits. It's protected by Oppo’s proprietary Crystal Shield Glass and rated IP65 for dust and water resistance.

In a departure from the brand’s long-standing design, OnePlus has replaced the signature alert slider with a new “Plus Key,” a programmable button that can trigger functions such as launching the camera, flashlight, or a preferred app, and toggling between sound modes.

Under the hood, the 13s runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, with a 5,850 mAh battery supported by 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. The phone runs on OxygenOS 15, which is based on Android 15.

AI integration takes a central role, with features built on Google’s Gemini model. The “AI Plus Mind” engine is designed to manage and recall information, while other tools include on-device translation and camera enhancements.

The camera setup includes a 32MP autofocus front camera, a 50MP wide sensor, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. In India, the OnePlus 13s is available in two configurations: 12GB + 256GB (₹54,999) and 16GB + 512GB (₹59,999), in black velvet and green silk. A pink satin variant is available globally in the base configuration.

OnePlus Pad 3 with a bigger display and better performance

OnePlus globally launched its latest Pad 3, which poses a sharper, slimmer, and more capable follow-up to its previous Android slate. With a larger 13.2-inch high-resolution display and the same Snapdragon 8 Elite chip that powers flagship phones, the Pad 3 aims to sit comfortably between work and play. Less than 6mm thick, the device features a sharper screen than Apple’s 11-inch iPad Air and is pushing into big-screen territory, with the battery to match. It houses a 12,140mAh cell that promises up to 17 hours of video playback and six hours of high-end gaming. The Chinese giant is offering two storage variants to its Indian audience – either 12GB RAM with 256GB storage or a more premium 16GB + 512GB option – and dual colour options—Storm Blue and Frosted Silver.

Priced at $700 in the US, the Pad 3 sits right between Apple’s 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Air models, both in size and pricing. The India launch of the tablet is expected in the coming weeks.
