The Gurugram-based carrier, which completed 19 years of operations in the country, announced several strategic developments in its journey to become a global airline.

IndiGo will be receiving five additional Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft in the current financial year under its damp-lease arrangement with Norse Atlantic Airways, which will enable the airline to launch new international routes while strengthening its existing long-haul network.

The country’s biggest carrier will start offering its business product, IndiGoStretch, on flights connecting Singapore to Delhi and Mumbai from August 9, 2025. IndiGo will operate its two-class A321 aircraft on the routes. Similarly, the airline will introduce IndiGoStretch on flights between Delhi and Dubai from August 30, 2025, and flights between Mumbai and Dubai starting September 3, 2025.

Within a period of just 19 years, IndiGo has established itself as India’s largest airline, operating a fleet of over 400 aircraft to service a robust network covering more than 90 domestic and over 40 international destinations.
