RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani says Reliance is ready to support any measure in protecting the nation’s unity and integrity
Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani has voiced strong support for India's armed forces and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership following "Operation Sindoor", saying the country remains united, resolute, and unwavering in its stand against terrorism.
"We are very proud of our Indian Armed Forces for Operation Sindoor. India stands united, fierce in resolve and unshakable in purpose, against the scourge of all forms of terrorism. Under the bold and decisive leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Indian Armed Forces have responded with precision and power to every provocation from across the border," Ambani said in a statement.
Ambani said PM Modi’s leadership has demonstrated India will never remain silent in the face of terror and that it will not tolerate a single attack on its soil, civilians, or the brave men and women who defend its nation.
He also said that RIL, India's biggest private company, is ready to support any measure in protecting the nation’s unity and integrity. "The last few days have shown that every threat to our peace will be met with firm and decisive action. The Reliance family is ready to support any measure in protecting our nation’s unity and integrity. We like our fellow Indians believe – India seeks peace, but not at the cost of its pride, security or sovereignty. Together, we will stand. We will fight. And we will prevail," said Ambani.
Indian security forces conducted high-precision air strikes under Operation Sindoor across nine different Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Jammu & Kashmir on Wednesday. The government stated that these were the specific locations where attacks against India were planned and directed. The security forces have described their actions as focused, measured, and non-escalatory in nature.
Despite India's measured, focused, and responsible approach, which did not target Pakistani military establishments, Pakistan attempted to engage a number of military targets in Northern and Western India on Wednesday night. "These were neutralised by the Integrated Counter UAS Grid and Air Defence systems. The debris of these attacks is now being recovered from a number of locations, which proves the Pakistani attacks," the government has said.
In response, the Indian Armed Forces targeted air defence radars and systems at several locations in Pakistan. "The Indian response has been in the same domain with the same intensity as Pakistan. It has been reliably learned that an Air Defence system at Lahore has been neutralised."
