By Day 6 of its release, Son of Sardaar 2 has managed to rake in an India net collection of ₹29.88 crore, while Dhadak 2, a more grounded romantic drama, has collected ₹14.51 crore, according to Sacnilk.

Son of Sardaar 2 marks the return of Ajay Devgn in the titular role, backed by a star-studded ensemble including Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Neeru Bajwa, and Deepak Dobriyal. It is directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, jointly produced by Ajay Devgn FFilms and Jio Studios, and builds on the masala-action template that defined the 2012 original.

As of Tuesday, Son of Sardaar 2 recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 22.08%. The morning shows began sluggishly with just 8.97% occupancy, but picked up momentum later in the day as afternoon shows stood at 18.87%, evening shows at 22.49%, and night shows peaked at 38%.

Meanwhile, Dhadak 2, a spiritual sequel to the 2018 film Dhadak, has received moderate but consistent traction. Starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Tripti Dimri in lead roles, the film also features Saurabh Sachdeva, Zakir Hussain, Deeksha Joshi, and Vipin Sharma. The film is directed by Shazia Iqbal and produced by Dharma Productions, Zee Studios, and Cloud9 Studio.
