VinFast has opened bookings for its VF MPV 7, a seven-seater electric MPV, in India from April 2, 2026. Customers can reserve the vehicle through VinFast’s official website and its network of 50 authorized dealerships nationwide with a booking fee of Rs 21,000. The official launch and pricing announcement is scheduled for April 15, 2026.

The VF MPV 7 is VinFast’s third model in India, following the VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs launched in September 2025, both of which received multiple industry awards. The new MPV is designed with dimensions of 4,740 mm in length, 1,872 mm in width, 1,734 mm in height, and a 2,840 mm wheelbase, offering a seven-seat configuration across three rows. R19 alloy wheels provide stability while maintaining a contemporary design.

Powering the VF MPV 7 is a 60.13 kWh battery capable of delivering a driving range of over 500 km on a single charge. Fast-charging technology allows the battery to recharge from 10% to 70% in approximately 30 minutes, enabling practical use for daily commuting and long-distance trips.

Tapan Ghosh, CEO of VinFast India, said: “The VF MPV 7 represents VinFast’s ongoing effort to expand modern electric mobility solutions in India. We expect this model to set benchmarks in its segment and provide a practical alternative to conventional vehicles for larger households.”

VinFast’s current portfolio is positioned in the mid segment of the EV market. The VF 6 is priced in the ₹16.5–18.5 lakh range (ex-showroom), while the larger VF 7 is priced between ₹21 lakh and ₹26.8 lakh following the end of introductory pricing.

In addition to vehicle sales, VinFast is expanding its Indian EV ecosystem through showrooms, aftersales service, and partnerships with local financial institutions. Customer-centric initiatives include the Value Assured program, trade-in schemes for switching from petrol vehicles to EVs, and free charging within the V-Green network until March 31, 2029, aimed at encouraging adoption of electric vehicles.

The development comes as VinFast looks to deepen its presence in India’s electric vehicle market by evaluating entry into the ₹10–14 lakh battery electric vehicle (BEV) segment. While the company has so far adopted a premium-first approach, it is assessing more affordable models to expand its addressable market, without moving into ultra-low-cost offerings.
