The primary objective of the campaign is to extend the reach of flagship schemes—Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), and Atal Pension Yojana (APY)—to all eligible individuals across the country.
In order to meet its objective, camps are being organised in all the 2.7 lakh GPs and ULBs. These camps are also providing facilities for re-KYC, updating nominations for bank accounts, and raising awareness about unclaimed deposits and digital fraud. A total of 2,30,895 camps have been organised across all villages and towns in the country, the ministry said.
Between July 1st and September 14th, 2025, the campaign facilitated meaningful community engagement. “Through strategic outreach and publicity of upcoming camps, citizens are being actively encouraged to visit camps and avail themselves of the benefits of the schemes,” the release added.
As of 15th September, 72.56 lakh people have been enrolled in PMJJBY, 1.56 crore people have been enrolled in PMSBY, and 31.32 lakh people have been enrolled in APY social security schemes. 44,455 claims have been paid under PMJJBY and PMSBY, with awareness programmes conducted on how to access unclaimed deposits and the various grievance redressal mechanisms available to the public.
The ministry also said that the government is committed to providing last-mile delivery of banking and financial services. To achieve this, there is active involvement of stakeholders at every level of society.
