Spinner is backed by collaboration with top IPL teams. 

Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL) launched ‘Spinner,’ a brand-new new sports drink, on Monday. Co-created with the cricket icon, Muttiah Muralitharan, this sports drink hits the shelves at just ₹10, according to the RCPL’s announcement in a release.

Spinner is backed by collaboration with top IPL teams including Lucknow Super Giants, SunRisers Hyderabad, Punjab Kings, Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians. “Partnering with RCPL, these cricketing powerhouses will amplify brand awareness and take Spinner’s visibility to every corner of the country.”

Celebrating the launch of Spinner, cricket icon and co-creator Muttiah Muralitharan said, “As an athlete, I know how important hydration is, especially when you're on the move or playing a sport. Spinner is a game-changer that will empower every Indian to stay hydrated and active, no matter where they are or what they’re doing.”

The company notes that Spinner is available in three refreshing flavours– Lemon, Orange and Nitro blue– designed to keep consumers hydrated.

“With Spinner, we’ve created an affordable and effective hydration solution that can be enjoyed by everyone, whether you're a professional athlete or just someone looking to stay hydrated. RCPL reportedly has an existing contract packaging arrangement with Muralitharan’s company, Muttiah Beverages, for Campa cans.

In January, RCPL acquired SIL brand for an undisclosed amount, SIL is majorly known for its products like jams and sauces.

RCPL revived the once-defunct Campa Cola in 2022, bringing it back to the market a year later. The brand undercuts the competitors by offering 200ml bottles at just ₹10, compared to Coca-Cola and PepsiCo’s 250 ml bottles priced at ₹20. Likewise, Campa’s 500 ml costs ₹20, while its rivals sell the same size between ₹30 and ₹40.
