Shares of Ather Energy hit a new 52-week high of Rs 689.20, rising 8% in today’s trade. Today’s rally marked the fourth day of its winning streak, rising more than 13%. The e2-wheeler maker’s shares have risen drastically over the months, up by 125% since it got listed in May 2025.
As per Vahan data, Ather took the third spot in terms of electric two-wheeler sales in the month of October, behind Bajaj Auto and TVS Motor. The company has delivered 12,601 units between October 1 and October 15. At the same time, its larger competitor, Ola Electric Mobility, delivered 7,697 units.
Investors tracked expanding market share, with Ather surpassing Ola Electric in terms of market capitalisation, at Rs 25,940 crore vs Ola’s Rs 23,162 crore.
While once a leader of the electric 2-wheeler sales, Ola has come down to fifth position, but that has not budged investors’ sentiments, as its share price too was on a rise, up by 5%, trading at Rs 55.38. The jump in its share price was on the back of a new product launch—Ola Shakti, which is its first residential Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solution, indigenously using the 4680 Bharat Cell. The company expects its annual consumption for BESS to scale up to 5 GWh in the next couple of years.
